Trimble VRS Now and xFill Correction Service
The Best of Both Worlds
The Best of Both Worlds
Combine the Trimble VRS Now™ GNSS correction service with the unlimited Trimble xFill® correction service for peace of mind with an added layer of reliability that keeps you from missing a beat in the field.
The unlimited xFill correction service seamlessly “fills in” and effectively bridges local signal interruptions, congestion or cellular outages with high-accuracy positioning for the entire duration of unexpected connectivity disruption in the field, so you can get the job done on time, and on budget.
And now’s the time to find out just how well these two work together.
You’ve come to depend on the connectivity, consistency, and quality of Trimble VRS Now, the real-time correction service—and for good reason: it works. It’s a solid, proven, cost-effective tool pioneered by Trimble and used across the globe for over 20 years.
Today, we harness the power of more satellites for your real-time corrections stream than ever before for a more robust end result. All this without the need for a base station, simplifying job site logistics, saving time and keeping expenses down.
But now, you can take “Correct. Correct. Measure.” one powerful step further by layering on the worry-free PPP backup provided by unlimited xFill. So what does this mean for you?
You know that it pays to do the job right the first time; that’s why you use Trimble VRS Now in the first place. But by pairing unlimited xFill with VRS Now, Trimble arms you with an extra layer of redundancy to overcome outliers you may encounter in the field:
Combining VRS Now and unlimited xFill empowers you to plan for the unexpected and sail through any signal interruption, picking right back up where it left off when it returns. No worries. No hassle. No added work or steps on your part.
To achieve centimeter positioning with GNSS signals, Trimble xFill technology allows the correlation of the VRS Now datum to the geocentric International Terrestrial Reference Frame (ITRF). It does this by converging a PPP solution in the receiver firmware that is used to calculate the offset from ITRF to the VRS Now datum.
This offset then allows you to continue utilizing RTK GNSS in your VRS Now datum after a loss of cellular Internet by utilizing the clock, orbit and atmospheric corrections modeled in the Trimble RTX solution.
Why limit yourself to one correction service? Get a better return on your investment and get the best of both worlds before your next project starts.
If you’re within the Trimble VRS Now coverage regions in Europe, North America, Australia, and New Zealand, you can start employing this combo next time you’re out capturing critical measurements.
