The Trimble X7 and Trimble X9 share a reliable platform, incorporating advanced functionalities such as auto-calibration, self-leveling, and a laser pointer for georeferencing. Meanwhile, the X12 delivers superior scan performance, unparalleled image quality, and integrated LED spotlights for capturing imagery even in low-light conditions.

The Trimble X7, X9, and X12 hardware are compatible with Trimble Perspective field software, which can run on a Trimble T10x tablet or a similar Windows tablet. For the Trimble X7 and X9, you also have the option to utilise the Trimble Perspective Mobile app, which is available on iOS or Android phones. Additionally, the Trimble X12 features an onboard interface, while the X7 and X9 can be operated using a push-button workflow.

The Trimble SX12 scanning total station can be operated with Trimble Access software.

A key benefit of opting for a Trimble scanning system is its seamless integration with Trimble Perspective software, facilitating effortless control and operation of the scanner in the field. Users can conveniently access recent scans and automatically register them with each other on-site, ensuring comprehensive data capture. This in-field automatic scan registration workflow significantly reduces time spent on registration tasks back in the office, saving valuable hours.

When using Trimble Perspective, export to the following formats: TDX or TZF (Trimble RealWorks + Trimble Business Center), LAS, E57, RCP, PTX, POD.
