Trimble Access Licence Relinquish Program Extended to July 2026

Trimble Access Licence Relinquish Program Extended to July 2026

⚠ Deadline Update

The Trimble Access Licence Relinquish & Transfer Program deadline has been extended from March 31 to July 1, 2026. You now have more time to upgrade your fleet and transfer your software licences.

We have great news for customers using the Trimble Access Licence Relinquish Program — we have extended the deadline to July 1, 2026. Back in January, we advised customers about the Trimble® Access™ Licence Relinquish & Transfer Program deadline. We are pleased to confirm that extension, giving your team extra time to plan a smooth transition.

What is the Trimble Access Licence Relinquish Program?

Trimble designed this program to protect your investment. It lets you purchase the latest Trimble field devices while transferring your existing Trimble Access software licences from your legacy hardware — so you avoid paying for entirely new software suites.

What you get

Faster processing, better connectivity, and enhanced security on the latest controllers.

What it costs

The cost of new hardware only — your existing Trimble Access licence moves with you.

Is your device on the retirement list?

While many controllers remain eligible for the transfer program, the following legacy devices will lose support under the Licence Relinquish Program as of July 1, 2026.

⚠ Devices losing eligibility on July 1, 2026:

  • TSC3 Controller
  • Yuma Tablets
  • T10 Tablets

ⓘ Please note: The T10x is NOT impacted and remains fully supported.

What should you do next?

If you’re running Trimble Access on a TSC3, Yuma, or T10, now is the time to plan your transition. You have until July 1, 2026 to upgrade to a modern device — such as the TSC7, TDC6, or T100 — and bring your software licence with you. Don’t wait until the final rush.

Furthermore, upgrading now means your crew gains faster processing speeds, improved GNSS connectivity, and longer-term software support — protecting your investment well beyond 2026.
