What is the term length of a Trimble RealWorks subscription license?
All Trimble RealWorks subscription licenses are valid for one year.
How much do Trimble RealWorks subscription licenses cost?
Trimble RealWorks licenses can be purchased through UPG, your Trimble Geospatial Distribution Partner.
Is an internet connection required to login with a Trimble ID and access the subscription license?
Yes, an internet connection is required to authenticate the Trimble ID and enable the license usage for that user. Once this initial authentication is made, the license can be used in an offline environment, requiring a reconnection to the online license server every three days. If this reconnection is not made within the given time, the license will be revoked until the license can be reauthenticated. After reauthentication, the license will return to an operational state, regaining the previous functionality.
What if I know I will be away from a reliable internet connection for an extended period?
You can check-out your RealWorks license from the license server for up to thirty days. This is done in the License Manager within RealWorks. This allows the license to be used for the duration of the check-out period without internet connection throughout.
