Trimble Access Aerial Imaging v 2.2.6 released for use

The issues regarding Trimble Access Aerial Imaging version 2.2.6 have been corrected and after thorough testing, this release is now available.

We recommend all customers of the Trimble UX5 systems to upgrade to this latest version.

Trimble Access Aerial Imaging v2.2.6 does not support the Trimble ZX5 multi-rotor system. ZX5 customers are required not to upgrade to version 2.2.6.

Trimble Business Center version 3.82

Trimble have announced the release of Trimble Business Center (TBC) version 3.82.

This release includes two new features: Cutting Plane View and Plane Definition Manager. Working together these two features allow you to efficiently extract CAD data using user defined planes. They are especially useful in creating section views from non-horizontal objects like building facades and surfaces.

Trimble Access version 2017.00 now available

Trimble have released a new version of Trimble Access. Version 2017.00 includes support for even more total stations and receivers and a number of customer requested enhancements.

Trimble Access now supports the Spectra Precision® FOCUS 30 and FOCUS 35 total stations, and the Spectra Precision SP60 and SP80 GNSS receivers. Please note that the TSC2 controller is no longer supported.

New features and enhancements

Based on customer feedback, Trimble have made it easier to work with jobs in Access with the following enhancements.

  • Enhancements to copy job files to a different location
  • Longer job names supported
  • Keyboard shortcut for selecting job or folder

Plus, you can now measure your position relative to an alignment, and configure the behaviour of the General Survey software when exiting from a stakeout alignment.

Trimble Access 2017.00 also has improved Trimble SX10 scanning total station support.

UASMaster v7.1.2 available

20160803-UASMastersTrimble has announced  a new version of one of Trimble’s UAS processing software solutions, UASMaster, has been released.

UASMaster v7.1.2 provides minor enhancements that improve processing stability and performance. The patch also includes language updates.

UAV-250x150Aerial Imaging v2.2.2

This new version supports the Sony a6000 camera for the ZX5 aerial imaging rover. It also resolves some know issues, including the failure of large .gwt files to import and the issue with memory leaks.

The firmware now handles low battery voltages more accurately. While this improvement increases safety it has decreased flying time.

Trimble have announced that a new version of the Trimble MX7 Mobile Imaging System is now available. Updates to the system include changes to the sensor head, roof rack, height rise accessory, and TMI software.

Trimble TerraSync Software v5.86

The new version of Trimble TerraSync field software is a maintenance release which contains fixes for a number of support issues. This includes two Trimble R2 GNSS receiver issues: being able to log base files and an issue which could cause current estimated accuracy to 20160803-terrasyncspike when starting a new feature while the R2 was receiving RTC corrections.

Trimble GPS Pathfinder Office Software v5.85

Version 5.85 for the Trimble GPS Pathfinder Office Software is a maintenance release. This upgrade includes improvements to the way code postprocessed estimated accuracies are calculated for the Trimble Geo 7X handheld. This generally means lower accuracy estimations which more closely match the actual error of the postprocessed positions. The software now supports world files (.wld) with comma separated decimals.

The upgrade to Trimble Trident, version 7.3.1, includes a range of bug fixes and improvements. The new version will be available next week for customers with a valid Trimble Trident maintenance contract.
