Quality of life on the rise

The need for clean water in many developing countries is nothing new. Residents of Bbanda, many of them children, walk over three kilometres every day to fetch water. But thanks to the work of some engineering students, that’s about to change.

Since 2009, volunteer members of Engineers without Borders have been working on providing a village-wide, water system for the community of Bbanda. Read how they are making this happen on page 12.
